Placa Verificada helps people in Brazil make informed decisions before purchasing a used vehicle. By entering a vehicle’s registration plate, users can access history checks covering potential risks such as auction records, damage history, outstanding debts and restrictions. Buying a used vehicle can involve issues that are difficult to identify through photographs or a physical inspection alone. The platform needed to make vehicle history checks accessible, explain the available reports clearly and guide users from entering a registration plate to choosing a suitable consultation.

Our Solution

We developed a web platform with a Next.js frontend and Node.js backend, built around a straightforward plate-search journey. The interface puts the vehicle search at the centre of the homepage, supported by clear explanations of the risks buyers should check. Report options help users understand the available consultation levels, while responsive layouts support access across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
